12″ – Four Twenty/Karma
Non propriamente un’uscita breaks, sia chiaro, ‘Cosmic Powers’ lato A di questo singolo edito da Four Twenty inclina con un groove ipnotico e battute diritte verso andamenti electro, tinti dalle incursioni melodiche nella struttura e da bassi alquanto profondi. Quello che è maggiormente interessante
a mio avviso è il retro ‘I Can Learn To Like This’, incisione ancora electro ma ‘glicciatissima’, che personalmente ho incastrato in un selezione tutta sperimentale e sguiscia che vede succedersi nomi come Si Begg, Tipper, Kraddy e Suff X (oltre ad un mio modesto remix tratto da ‘Weird Science’ di Zabiela). Il risultato sembra interessante, un plauso quindi anche a Mowbray che sembra aver tratto rinnovate energie dal nuovo studio partner.
