Siamo nei territori del breakbeat più ‘glicciato’, dove i ritmi spezzati s’integrano con attitudini assai bassose e maggiormente sperimentali non disdegnando le suggestioni d’un andamento obliquamente techy. Eppure, proprio la prima traccia in questo caso, ‘Cyberfreq’, fa sfoggio d’innesti groove, depurati d’ogni orpello e ridotti appunto alle minime ‘cibernetiche’ frequenze. Suff-x (aka Bryce Elder) fa sfoggio di sapienza tecnica anche nell’elaborazione del successivo ‘Electro Medicine’, sfavillante nell’ondeggiare delle battute che fluttuano ma al tempo stesso sono decisamente vigorose. Con il pubblico giusto sarà un piacere sparare queste tracce sul dancefloor. Non è finita: per ognuna di queste due incisioni v’è pure un remix, approntato da Dov (aka David Bruyns), boss della Muti Music e breaks headz tecnologica della Bay Area, attitudine da sottolineare perchè sempre la musica ha da confrontarsi con i futuri panorami possibili. Se vi piace Tipper (almeno la metà di quanto piace a me) questa uscita è asolutamente imperdibile.
