Confermano la strada intrapresa gli Atomic Hooligan ed anche per il nuovo album, dopo il Breakspoll vinto nel 2006 con ‘You Are Here’, s’incede nell’intreccio di breaks, hip hop e rock, mescolando cipiglio e sostanza live, grazie soprattutto alle numerose collaborazioni vocali (Afu Ra, Genesis Elijah, Alex Sim-Wise, Justin Berry ed Elmo Jones). Il tutto supportato da solide ed assai varie strutture musicali, modulate in scelte stilisticamente ‘alterne’, sorta di ‘glam breaks’ a cui non dispiacciono interludi jazzati, parti melodiche, motivetti synthcore, fluenti rime, effetti digitali e divagazioni indie. Sara’ proprio la leggerezza nell’articolare attitudine da band, in sintonia anche con stilemi pop (in parte infusi da Jote Osahn, gia’ collaboratore di Gorillaz e Roots Manuva) a rendere gradevolissimo l’effetto complessivo, che in ‘I Don’t Care’, singolo da noi gia’ recensito, e nell’infettiva ‘Electro Ain’t Electro’, viziosa nei motivetti, deliziosamente ammiccante e bassosa, realizzano momenti di grande coinvolgimento.
