Inizia bene il nuovo anno per la Mofo Recordings, abile nello sguinzagliare i suoi Beat Assassins assieme Nine Lives The Cat in evoluzioni dal riff gangster-style, perfette nel rapping ilare, parodia di una Generation MTV sempre più vacua e stupidamente abbagliata (anche se a dire il vero di Generation MTV, ce ne deve essere più d’una, se gia’ Bret Easton Ellis in ‘Less Than Zero’, lontano 1985, utilizzava, e non a torto, questo termine). Quattro le versioni, instrumental, full vocal e ‘Pimpin Mix’ (la mia preferita in questo terzetto), oltre al remix del nostro Plaza De Funk, come sempre una certezza per quanto riguarda l’azione di frequenze basse, ondivaghe e fuzzy. Un’uscita assolutamente consigliabile insomma, a conferma della qualità alla quale oramai questa label ci ha abituato.
