12″ – Noodles
Arrivano altre release, in vinile e solo in digitale, da Si Begg per via Noodles, qui al terzo capitolo della saga ‘Jetlag and Tinnitus’. Nuova implementazione della serie che parte al meglio con ‘Are You A Big Boy Dj?’, traccia molto ‘friendly’ – considerati gli standard del ‘maestro’ – qui a suo agio con efficaci campionamenti vocali che bene reiterano l’ammiccante titolo. Più intimista (si fa per dire) ‘I See Them All The Time’, traccia d’atmosfera, alquanto rarefatta, dipanata sul crinale dei 122-123 bpm. Sul lato b, invece, si parte con ‘You Shall Know Our Velocity’, distorta elaborazione nel tipico stile della fucina Si Begg, impagabile nell’articolare ragionevoli dissonanze elettroniche anche in ‘Better Living Through Distortion’ (titolo – appunto – non agitato certo per caso). Finora si trattava solo di vinile, mentre per Beatport, Addictech, Bleep, Juno e Trackitdown – i soliti, insomma, spacciatori di bit – sono riservate nell’ordine ‘Rapid Eye Movement’, ’16 Lover’, ‘Revelation Revulsion’ e ‘Sunshine 08’. Se amate le ispide ma assai ritmiche maniere glitch-breaks sono infine incisioni tutte assai apprezzabili.
