Ritorna a bomba Dopefish, produttore belga del quale abbiamo appena recensito il ‘Who Remixed Who Ep‘, sull’etichetta di casa, mentre adesso รจ lo Y4K, storico marchio anglosassone, quello scelto per questo ‘Big Bad Wolf Ep’, svarionato e tendenzioso nell’original version, percorsa da tensioni stradaiole e mescole post-disco, espressive per carattere, iperboliche ed assai bassose. Saltellante e fuzzy lo ‘Scott Cooper Remix’, intruglio a base fidget, ficcante e calibratissimo. Maggiormente enfatico, cattivello ed effettato lo ‘Juttla Remix’, urbano e digitalmente sinuoso, avvolgente e isterico. Si chiude con lo ‘Swim Swim Hungry Remix, psy ed egualmente sguisciante, a 126 bpm, ritmico, esagerato e laido. Ottimo lavoro che meglio direziona certi eclettismi autorali di Dopefish . La direzione intrapresa sembra quella giusta, speriamo non ci si perda – adesso – in ulteriori mutazioni.
