12″ – Wearhouse
Seconda puntata per la serie d’uscite in digitale a marchio Wearhouse, anche questa volta ‘Fresh Attire’ colpisce nel segno. S’incomincia con Bill Eff, titolare di due incisioni, ‘Baby Baby’ e ‘Chocolatey’. La prima a 123 bpm, ben pulsante ed energetica, con inserti bellamente soul music a far da contrappunto ad altri vocal inneggianti, su un andamento saltellante e puntuto. L’altra a 125 bpm, ancor più zompante e ondivaga, quasi a marcetta bulgara, con accenni robotici, malfunzionamenti creativi e un riff semi-zingaresco. É la volta poi dei Bit Crushers con ‘Turn Ya Speakas Up’ e le scansioni salgono nel giusto per la fidget, a 127 bpm, così come dev’essere, ritagliate fra vocal ben congegnati e sirene, ritmi incalzanti e bassi fondi che alta mantengono la pressione in pista. Tocca poi a Foamo dar vita ad un altra doppietta, con ‘Rockerman’, remixata dai Dem Slackers e ‘Everything Cool’ affidata invece ai trattamenti di Gtronic. Entrambe produzioni calibrate sui 129 bpm, molto stradaiole e techy, soprattutto ‘Rockerman’ c’entusiasma, con i vocal assai cadenzati e insistiti, seppure anche l’altra non sia male, steroidea e booty, effettatissima e cattiva.
