Già dalla fine del 2008 avevamo posizionato l’original version di ‘Rowdy Jack’ di Gigi Barocco tra gli strasuonati in scaletta (vedi il post su ‘Spend My Money’ di Bass Kleph). Arriva adesso questo remix di Bryan Cox e non paghi – per vie ‘traverse’ – anche quello del transalpino The Deficient. A dire il vero, dal sito Crux Da House scopriamo essercene in catalogo una caterva: assemblati rispettivamente da Lexo, Da Carrot, Justin James, Danny T, Jeff Doubleu, Josh David e Dj Mannaia. Possiamo render conto di quelli nel nostro player soltanto, assicurandovi che i trattamenti operati dal dj newyorkese, grazie a una pompante bassline fidget, sono assai efficaci e reattivi, giusto a 128 bpm. Si sale d’una sola tacca per pitch nel ‘Deficient Remix’, ancor più effettato, sinestetico ed ellittico, grasso e massimalista. Speriamo – per la prossima volta – di darvi conto dell’uscita completa.
