We could hail this release as a miracle if this guy were not already one of the greatest fuck off electro-breaks producer. Jnr Hacksaw shows us his great skills in blending the old and the last flavours, coming out with a clear sound embodied with consistent rhythmics and basses, future funk attitude and glitchy sounds. Smart move in ‘The Truth is?’, where the combination of atypical (right in this context) field-recordings is very well done and with a high level of complexity. Not only experimental flows but also execellent dancefloor grooves and sounds that we d love to spin in the right contexts. Very unusual but also hot the b-side, ‘Yestermorrow’, with a long intro between breaks, dubstep and breakcore . This is a very particular production, and Hacksaw is quite aware of what he is doing and the direction he is going to. Big up and great expectations for the future.
