12″ – Vacation Records
Vacation Records is a new label run by the pioneer Aussie producer Bass Kleph, specialist in techno and breaks remixes very close to certain electro and synth-noise. It is just this recipe we find in ‘Shake with It’ by fRew (a.k.a
James Frew), brilliant example of genre-crossing attitude typical of those guys. The original version comes out with powerful beats, rough and dirty sound, loaded with twisted and digital effects, and forceful vocals emerging out of the groove. Kleph takes care of the remix, fat bass and brilliant effects summed up in a sort of yobby and aggressive booty-breaks. Gotta get it!
