È arrivato anche per ‘Jump Get Hype’ di Baobinga & ID il momento d’una congrua ‘fioritura’ di remix. Esattamente tre di numero, per l’occasione, in catalogo per la Fat Records sotto il titolo, ‘Big Monster: The Remix Ep 1’. Si parte subito con Gella, primo produttore coinvolto e l’effetto é quello di bassi duri ed influenze dubstep, spavalde e glicciate, come adesso s’addice alla créme ghetto-chic delle metropoli continentali. Caldi del convolgimento in ‘Gun Club’ di Sam Hell, sono assai in palla ed esplosivi i Badlands con la loro tech-house pompata e saltellante, electro-indotta, a 128 bpm, beatz solidi e reattivi, farciti da vocal altrettanto ben tagliati. Ipnoidi sequenze invece quelle nel ‘Heavyfeet’s Raving Re-Shuffle’ (aka Mike Burgess e James Medina), toni virulenti nelle influenze chicagoane e old-skool rave congiunte infine a piú contemporanee mescole. Tre grandi remix insomma per una rinnovata Fat giĆ pronta all’album di debutto di Gella, a quello di Merka sotto il moniker Mystic Man e a nuove produzioni di Kid Blue.
